The procedure may take various weeks until you observe a difference. 3) One of the best known methods to improve the punching power is to hold dumbbells in each hand and exercise throwing punches in the air. This is a proven method to increase the speed and punching power. It is said that Bruce Lee applied 10 lb. dumbbells in order to improve his speed and punching power.
