The golf season is right around the corner and in parts of the country the golf season has already even started. Although cold fingers and limbs are more mutual than perfective shots this time of the year, soon the weather will turn for the better and everyone from twenty plus handicappers to sub-par golfers will be hitting the links to receive pleasure from the sunshine and warmth. Although numerous golfers don’t talk with regards to fashion, they are all conscious regarding how they look out there on the course. Many companies have come out with ways for golfers to stay arid and cool while playing the greatest game each played argued by the most avid players. Nike’s Dri-FIT and Adidas’ ClimaCool shirt’s engineering science allows the golfer to stay cool on the course by absorbing perspiration and having a breathable fabric. As an avid golfer, I have worn galore dissimilar Nike polo’s and always thought very highly of them. However, last summer after getting off work mid-afternoon, I headed to the golf course to play a round of golf with a friend. After getting to the golf course and getting my shoes on I realized I was wearing a black Carhartt Work-Dry polo rather of my standard golf attire of Nike Dri-FIT polo and panicked for a second. It was in the mid 80′s and with the sun beating down on everything it could, I thought there was no way I was going to stay cool while walking and playing 18 holes of golf. I decisive to just put it in the back of my mind and worry more when it comes to playing well and beating my friend. After playing seven holes, we were kept up for a few moments by a slower group in front of us, and I was reminded that I was wearing the Carhartt Work-Dry polo again. Although it was hot and I was drinking an adequate amount of water to be sure I didn’t become dehydrated, I realized that I was cool even wearing a black polo. Carhartt Work-Dry short-sleeve shirts have been formulated with a moisture-management engineering that is supposed to keep the garment wearer arid and cool. As it became my turn to tee off I put it in the back of my mind again and worked on finishing the rest of the round. As we sat around after the round talking about the shots, I was reminded again of my Carhartt Work-Dry polo and couldn’t have been more impressed with the product. On one of the hottest days of the year golfing, I wore a black Carhartt Work-Dry polo shirt and was capable to stay comfortable and manage to shoot one of my best rounds of the summer. I’m not going to say that if you wear Carhartt Work-Dry shirts your score will drop by ten strokes or you won’t ever miss a putt again but I will say that you will be comfortable on the course. Next time you are looking for a polo that will keep you comfortable whether you are working or out playing, undertake a Carhartt Work-Dry short-sleeve polo. |
