College Rowing has a long tradition within college athletics and is in matter of fact the oldest sport in college athletics. However to get recruited to row in college is very hard since it is on a very high level, the schools that have college rowing program are also often world class programs.

College Rowing programs compete both in fall and spring; fall season is mostly focused on building the rowers for the spring which is the primary competition season.
